About the Author
Janet Tashjian is an award-winning children's book author. She has written over 30 books, including the popular "Einstein the Class Hamster" series. Tashjian's books have been translated into over 20 languages and have sold over 2 million copies worldwide.
Tashjian grew up in New York City and now lives in Connecticut with her husband and two sons. She is a graduate of Brown University and the University of California, Berkeley.
